An Alabama seven (7) day notice to quit for illegal activity is sent to a tenant that has possessed or handled illegal drugs or firearms in the residence. This does not allow the landlord to send notice to a tenant for simply being arrested. This notice must be set for specific illegal activity being conducted on the premises.
