Arizona 30 Day Notice to Quit | Month to Month Tenancy

The Arizona 30-day notice to quit is designated for landlords seeking to terminate a month-to-month lease arrangement. The landlord must grant at least thirty (30) days notice before terminating a tenancy at will unless a longer period exists in the rental contract. It is best to either hand-deliver this notice or send via certified mail with return receipt in order to get the tenant’s signature confirming that they’ve received the notice.

Laws – § 33-1375(B)

Week-to-Week Tenancy – Notice must be given at least ten (10) days in advance per Statute 33-1375(A).
