The Nevada seven (7) day notice to pay or quit can be served by a landlord to a tenant if their rent has not been paid on time. The notice provides the tenant with seven (7) days to either pay the past due amount or vacate the rental unit. If the tenant fails to comply with the notice, the landlord can terminate the rental agreement and file an eviction action in the county in which the rental property is located. The “Declaration of Service” section will be filled out by the landlord once they have served the tenant. For this purpose, a copy of the notice must be made prior to delivery.
