Nevada 30 Day Notice to Quit | Month to Month Tenancy

The Nevada thirty (30) day notice to terminate, or lease termination letter, is a document that informs a tenant or landlord in a month to month arrangement that the tenancy will end. The minimum amount of notice to be given, by the landlord or tenant, is thirty (30) days. If the tenant is at least sixty (60) years old or has a physical/mental disability, they should be given an additional thirty (30) days notice from the landlord. Before serving the notice, the landlord will need to keep a copy to keep for proof of service. The termination letter must be delivered in-person, by certified mail, by courier, or by the County Sheriff’s office.
