The Nevada five (5) day notice to comply or quit is served to tenants when they have committed some type of a lease or rental agreement violation. The tenant will have five (5) business days to rectify the lease violations, move out, or have their lease terminated. If they fail to comply, the landlord can serve the tenant with an unlawful detainer notice, or file a formal complaint, in order to have them removed by court order. A copy of the notice should be made so that the “Declaration of Service” may be completed after delivery of the notice has occurred.
