Oklahoma 5 Day Notice to Quit

The Oklahoma five (5) day notice to pay or quit is required to be served on a tenant who has failed to pay rent. The notice informs the tenant that they have five (5) days to pay the past due rent, or vacate the premises of the rental unit. If the tenant does not pay the rent or move out within the five (5) day period, the landlord can terminate the lease agreement and then file an eviction action in court.
