California 30 Day Notice to Quit | Month to Month Tenancy Under 1 Year

The California thirty (30) day notice to quit is used by a landlord to cancel a month-to-month rental agreement in which the tenant has been renting the property for less than one (1) year. Although, landlords do not need to specify any reason to terminate a month-to-month tenancy but they cannot terminate based on discriminatory or retaliatory grounds.
