Nebraska 14/30 Day Notice to Comply or Quit

The Nebraska 14/30 day notice to quit is a document which a landlord will mail or hand-deliver to their tenant to inform them that they have violated their lease agreement and must comply with the notice or leave the residence. If this is the first infraction on the part of the lessee, they are permitted (14) days to resolve the lease violation or thirty (30) days to vacate. For repeat offenders, the landlord only needs to grant a fourteen (14) day notice for the tenant to remove themselves from the rental unit. On the document, the landlord will describe the breach of contract, indicate the cost for payment of damages (if applicable), and provide the dates that inspection will occur (if applicable) and that the lease will be terminated on.
