The Ohio three (3) day notice to pay or quit is the standard notice that is used to inform a tenant that they must pay past due rent or face being evicted. The notice states that the tenant must either pay the past due amount or vacate the rental unit within three (3) business days. If the tenant does not pay the rent or vacate the rental unit by the end of the notice period, the landlord can file an eviction lawsuit against them in court.
