The Vermont thirty (30) day notice to comply or vacate is the type of eviction notice that must be served on a tenant who has committed a lease violation. The notice informs the tenant that they have thirty (30) days to cure the violation(s) or vacate the rental unit. If the tenant does not fix the violation(s) or move out within that period of time, the landlord can file an eviction action against the tenant. Service of this document must be executed by personal delivery, certified mail, or by posting the notice on the premises of the property.
