Washington 10 Day Notice to Comply or Vacate

The Washington ten (10) day notice to comply or vacate is a notice form that is served on a tenant who has committed a remediable lease violation. On the document, the landlord will describe the violation and list the date by which it must be remedied by the tenant. If the tenant fails to fix the noncompliance within the ten (10) day period, the landlord has the right to sue them for possession of the property and any relevant damages. The notice can be served personally, sent by certified mail with a copy posted on the premises, or left with a resident with a second copy sent by mail.
