The Arkansas thirty (30) day notice to terminate is used to cancel a month-to-month rental agreement which is required by law to be sent at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of termination. Refer to the written agreement as if there is a longer date stated for termination then that is to be followed.
This notice is not required, but highly recommended to be sent via certified mail with return receipt so the landlord will have proof the tenant received the notice. The notice period begins on the day the tenant signs and accepts the form.
